UK Official Charts: Albums
NATIONAL ALBUMS CHART
This is the UK's official national albums chart. The chart is based on the number of equivalent units "sold". Units means 'sales' or 'streams'. The following data is counted:
- Physical sales (HMV or UK BLACKPINK store).
- Digital sales (iTunes & Amazon)
- Audio streams (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, TIDAL, etc)
- YouTube video streams (NOTE: Audio-only videos on YouTube also count, as long as they're on the BLACKPINK YouTube account)
ELIGIBILITY: A minimum of 5 songs, or 4 songs + a remix from another album. Example: Kill This Love album.
The official unit conversion rate is:
1 digital/physical sale = 1 unit
1000 weighted streams = 1 unit
The top two most popular songs from the album have their units weighted down to the same value as the average of the remaining songs - this means it's valuable to stream
all songs and not to leave one out.
TRACKING WEEK: Friday 00:00 to Thursday 23:59.
