Shazam
What is Shazam?
Shazam is an app that you can use via iOS, Android, or even via Snapchat. You can install it via the App Store or Play Store. What does it do?
It listens to music and identifies which song and artist are playing. Why is that important?
Radio DJs and other important people use Shazam charts to decide which music to play. The more times that a song is searched on Shazam, the more likely they are to give the song a 'spin' on radio, or add it to online playlists. This increases the reach of the song and allows more people to hear it. It also increases its national chart ranking in some countries, such as in the USA where radio play counts towards the Hot 100.

A Shazam extension for Google Chrome is now available that can identify music being played.
It means that while you are streaming on computer the MV on Youtube you can also shazam the song multiple times.
This is a new way of shazaming and it also help for Apple users, since they can only do 1 shazam per 24h on IOS devices. So now no more excuses !
How to download it ?
Tap “Shazam Extension” on Google Chrome, click on this link and add the app to your Google chrome HOW TO USE IT
1. Play a Blackpink song on any streaming plateform on your computer
2. Click on the Shazam icon in Chrome extensions
3. Once you clicked on it, the app will automatically Shazam the song (you have to stay on the tab where the music is playing, otherwise the app won't recognize the song).Wait until the app recognized the song
4. Wait until the app recognized the song
5.Once it’s done, you go in your Shazam historic and click on delete all and shazam again
6.Don’t forget to like the song and follow/suscribe Blackpink account You can do this several time per song while streaming. Do a 5-10min pause every 10 Shazams.It’s good for radio, tik-tok, etc…

iOS devices can add 1 Shazam per 24 hours for the same song using Shazam app since you can’t CLEAR DATA anymore on the iOS devices. So even if you Shazam the same song thousand times, only one Shazam will be counted. We strongly recommend you to Shazam the song once every 24 hours using all your iOs devices. Notes:
Total Shazam counts are updated about 30~60 minutes, sometimes more.
If your localisation is on, your local music industry will see Blackpink's song popularity in your region and your Shazam will contribute to your local Shazam chart and Shazam Global chart. Otherwise, it will only contribute to the Shazam Global Chart.

- 3. Play any BLACKPINK song on the music streaming platform of your choice
- 4. Open Shazam and click on the Shazam button (S) to identify the song
- 5. Once Shazam has recognized the song, you’re done!

Repeat the process as many times as you want, with a 5 - 10 minutes break every 5 Shazams.One shazam is done in less than 10 seconds. We recommend each of you (Android user) to do at least 50 - 100 shazam per day, it will help MASSIVELY on radio, billboards and streaming platforms. Notes:

- 2. Go to Settings on your device, make sure microphone access is enabled for the Snapchat app
- 3. Play any BLACKPINK song on the music streaming platform of your choice
- 4. Open the Snapchat camera screen, press and hold in the midddle of the screen until it identifies the song.
- 5. Once Shazam has recognized the song, you're done.'
